Short Term Training

The Short Term Training program is designed to assist participants ages eighteen (18) to twenty-four (24) in obtaining a state-recognized credential in high demand vocational trades through specially designed “fast track” courses in partnership with local colleges and training programs. We currently have courses in Metal Inert Gas (MIG) Welding, Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Welding, and Forklift Operator (LTO).

Applications can be completed at our office. The following documents will be required to finalize your application.
– Photo ID
– Social Security Card
– Birth Certificate
– Diploma/GED/Drop-out Letter
– Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
– Child(ren)s Birth Certificate(s) (if applicable) 
– Child(ren)s Social Security Card(s) (if applicable)
